This beautiful wire wrapped jewellery forms part of my signature collection and love for using intricate wire for jewellery making.
If you are looking for beautiful gemstone star jewellery then you will love this pendant necklace which consists of five stunning gemstone beads set into a five point flower with a wire star design set in the middle using silver plated wire.
Use the options above to select your desired gemstone option. I have 18 different stones currently available to choose from which represent a different birth month.
The 5 pointed star inside the circle of beads is a pentacle, it is used for protection and magic and represents the 5 Elements, Wind, Water, Earth, Fire, and Spirit.
The 5 beads (or flower petals) represent a 5 petaled flower, a symbol of protection and represent five traditional kinds of duty, five kinds of happiness, five kinds of unity and other qualities that all add up to the meaning of peace and happiness.
The sizes below and the colour of the gemstones will all vary slightly as these are handmade with gemstones that all vary ever so slightly making this jewellery truly one-of-a-kind and beautifully unique.

The Twisted Kitty On Social Media
I have always been a creative person, at university I studied textile design and focused on knitting, weaving and knotting designs and techniques manipulating materials to become wearable fabrics with a trapped aesthetic linking to the natural world such as branches and root systems.
Some years later, after having my first little boy I felt the need to explore a new creative path and started to teach myself wire wrapping. Wire wrapping is similar to the processes I had already learnt and felt like a natural step in my creative journey allowing me to explore the beauty of organic shapes within nature to create wearable art.
Wire wrapped jewellery is one of the oldest jewellery making techniques in the world. It is created using metal wire which is manipulated by bending and twisting it into shapes either around itself or to capture an object(s) within its coils such as gemstones, shells or beads.
My currently favourite techniques are:
Herringbone wrapping which I use to create my birthstone range which includes pendants and dangle earrings wrapped in silver plated wire wrapped around beautiful gemstone beads representing the different months of the year.
Manipulating wire to fit around unusual gemstone shapes to create interesting pendants; my current favourites are little mushrooms and, making little star-flower pendants made by wrapping 5 beads together in a ring with a star design within, as a pagan this design is one of my favourite makes, a pentagram surrounded by beautiful gemstones.
