Beautiful resin coasters made with multicoloured buttons of various styles encased in clear heat resistant resin with a white resin background to emphasize the vibrant colours of the buttons.

The coasters shown are an example of the style and shape of the coasters and items purchased will be similar but not identical to those shown in the photos.

All my products are handmade, and due to the nature of resin, there may
be slight visible imperfections such as bubbles or bumps. Although
every care is taken in the making of my products, these are unavoidable
and does not make the item faulty.

CARE GUIDE:

To clean resin wipe with a damp cloth and polish with a clean microfibre cloth.  The resin is not dishwasher or microwave safe and should not be soaked.

Do not expose to extreme heat, avoid contact with harsh chemicals and constant direct sunlight.

The first buttons were used as ornamental embellishments to a person's attire and signified wealth or status. They had small holes drilled into their surfaces and were attached to clothing by thread, often forming geometric patterns rather than the straight lines we know today.

After finding a little painted pebble when walking my dog, I was inspired to start painting my own, which has fast become an obsession! The stone painting lead me on to working with resin, first to coat my painted stones, then to start creating resin pieces such as coasters, trays and animals. It was not long before I became interested in using Jesmonite to create similar things with a different look to resin. I have experimented painting plant pots and using polymer clay detail on the outside to create unique pieces as well.

I hope that if you buy any of my work, you enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed creating it!
