These lovely south coast bird birthday cards are simply a wonderful occasion card or greetings card for someone who loves the sea and being surrounded by the ocean and the birds of the South Coast.

For everyone who loves our countryside and coastal British Birds - I’ve taken the opportunity to photograph a few of them, and share them in my South Coast Bird Cards Collection. Such lovely cards for your family and friends to receive, especially if they live or have stayed in the area.

The set consists of:

• Gull at Lyme Regis beach – who doesn’t love to see a gull sitting on these iconic Ammonite design street lamps at the Lyme Regis beach. It wouldn’t be the seaside without them. This bird has just taken off.

• Ducks at Chard Reservoir – there are so many beautiful birds at this reservoir, but dominated by the adorable ducks. I often wonder what they are chatting about with all their quack, quack, quacks!

• Freddie the Pheasant at Leigh – Freddie always returns to our garden in January till the end of Spring to reclaim his patch, strutting his stuff and wooing the female pheasants. He’s a very inquisitive bird and I often wonder if we left the door open, whether he would wander inside and make himself at home! He’s a joy to behold.

• Gull and her Chicks at Lyme Regis – perched upon the flat roof of a Cafe, nestled above the National Trust Shop, this female Gull is left alone to raise her chicks. Here she is feeding them all before they finally leave the nest and begin their own lives.
